The AS9700-32X switch is a thoughtfully optimized design tailored for Leaf/Spine deployments, catering to 400/100G network requirements. With a total of thirty-two QSFP-DD ports, each port operates at multiple speed modes ranging from 10G to 400G, offering versatile connectivity options (speed configurations vary per port based on selection).

The AS9700-32X is ingeniously designed without a PHY, where the QSFP28-DD connections directly link to the Serdes interfaces of the Broadcom 56980 switching silicon, ensuring cost-efficiency, low latency, and optimal power consumption. This switch incorporates standard features typically found in Top of Rack / Leaf / Spine switches, such as redundant field-replaceable power supplies and fan units, and it allows for flexible airflow direction (either "Front to Back" or "Back to Front"). Moreover, the AS9700-32X supports various Open Source CPU modules offered by Edgecore Networks, enhancing its adaptability and versatility.
