Celestica DS1000 1U 48-port 1GbE Data Center Switch
The DS1000 embodies a fully open design, with a comprehensive design specification and all the design files contributed to the Open Compute project. The DS1000 has been specifically engineered to be a cost-effective and energy-efficient solution, consuming less than 200W at peak usage. The power supplies integrated into the DS1000 are designed to meet the 80 PLUS Platinum power efficiency rating.
An Open Compute Project (OCP) Accepted design, the DS1000 Ethernet switch offers 48 x 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 ports and 8 SFP+ ports within a 1U form factor. With support for a COM-E modular atom-based control plane, the DS1000 includes an ONIE installer to support third-party network operating systems. Additionally, the DS1000 is equipped with an x86 CPU complex, providing ample resources to run additional applications alongside the standard Network Operating System (NOS).
