Open Network Linux

Initially proposed at Open Compute Project Engineering Workshop in San Antonio by Big Switch Networks in 2013, Open Network Linux (ONL) is is a Linux distribution for "bare metal" switches.

Adopted by the Open Compute Project in 2014, ONL is the reference Network Operating System for the Open Compute Project.

OCP is currently in process of redefining strategy and leadership for the ONL sub-project. Please contact Rajeev Sharma for further details.
